Information obtained by is that there is some friction between the two parliamentarians there on one hand and the Municipal Chief Executive on the other.

Alex Kyeremeh is member of parliament for Techiman North constituency whilst Adjei Mensah is MP for Techiman South.

Some big shots in the party are unhappy with the way the MCE; Philip Oppong Amponsah runs his show. Some of those spoke to are of the view that the MCE is in bed with the main opposition and is
collaborating with them on several fronts; a situation that makes them uncomfortable.

It is generally feared that the lack of cooperation between these government functionaries is costing
the town a lot of development.
