Telecommunications Giant MTN Ghana has lauded the organizers of the Springboard road show for another amazing delivery.
The telecommunications services provider which has been supporting the Springboard Road Show for about 12 years explain that they continue to support the show because it is helping connect to the youth, enriching their lives, inspiring them to secure brighter lives for themselves and mirrors MTN’s brand values.
Speaking to www.rawgist.com on the sidelines of the Kumasi edition of the Springboard Roadshow 2020 last weekend, Ag. General Manager of MTN Northern Business District, Mrs Adwoa Baah Afrakoma Obeng was impressed that the event as always was very well organized. She says the Springboard Roadshow has remained relevant till date inculcating technology and an exciting line-up of presenters every time.
“We are committed to working with the Springboard Foundation to brighten lives and we look forward to working with you all as we brighten the lives of young people” she said.
She advised young people to find suitable mentors to help them achieve their aspirations in life. She believes the lack of a suitable mentor can lead to failure in one’s chosen field and therefore stressed the relevance of mentorship.
This year’s Springboard Roadshow drew thousands of young people to the auditorium of the Calvary Charismatic Center (CCC) at Ayigya; a suburb of Kumasi.
Addressing participants earlier, Comfort Ocran, Co-founder and Executive Director of Springboard Roadshow admonished the youth to study to identify their strengths early in life.
She noted that guidance becomes easy when one is focused on what she or he wants to do in life.
Mrs. Ocran asked the youth to read wide about their preferred career fields.
This year’s roadshow was sponsored by MTN Pulse which is designed for young prepaid customers on MTN and other networks.
