Pastor Ransford Obeng, Founder and Leader of the Calvary Charismatic Centre(CCC) has extended his condolences to the family of the late former president Jerry John Rawlings and prayed that God keeps them.
The former President died Thursday after a short illness.
Since the late President’s passing, social media in Ghana is awash with photographs, videos, and quotes of the Charismatic leader.
Pastor Ransford Obeng who was addressing media personnel at his church premise in Kumasi recounted how difficult it is to lose a spouse, and prayed for God to grant Mrs. Rawlings the strength to bear the sadness of her husband’s passing.
Pastor Ransford Obeng lost his wife about a year ago. He says it is a difficult experience that requires the help of God.
He also stressed the need for political parties to let go off tensions and champion national unity taking cognizance of the kind of person the late former President was.
