Settle Your Dues and Secure Voting Rights—–Oheneba Boakye Urges NPP Members.
Thomas Oheneba Boakye, a leading candidate for the NPP-UK Branch Organizer position, has issued an urgent call to members across the United Kingdom to settle their outstanding dues before the fast-approaching deadline.
He warned that failure to do so would result in the loss of voting rights for the upcoming internal elections.
Democratic Voice
With the deadline set for Thursday, April 30, 2026, Mr. Boakye highlighted the risk of many dedicated members inadvertently disenfranchising themselves.
He emphasized that the integrity and strength of the internal democratic process rely on full participation.
“This is a humble but firm appeal to every member across all Chapters: please pay your dues and protect your right to vote. Do not wait until it is too late,” Boakye stated.
Path to 2028:
Mr. Boakye noted that these internal elections are a critical precursor to the party’s broader strategy for the 2028 General Elections.
He believes the choice of leadership now will determine how the Branch is repositioned for future victory.
“Our internal elections are a cornerstone of our organization. Every member deserves a voice in choosing the leaders who will navigate our Branch toward its future goals,” he added.
Active Membership:
Beyond attending meetings and social events, Boakye argued that true membership requires a tangible commitment to the party’s operational sustainability.
Financial Discipline:
Regular dues are essential for the Branch’s day-to-day operations.
Active Engagement:
Commitment must be backed by action, ensuring the party remains financially robust.
Democratic Relevance:
Maintaining eligibility ensures that a member’s voice remains relevant in the party’s decision-making hierarchy.
Chapter Unity
As election activities intensify, the Organizer hopeful encouraged Chapter executives to be proactive in sensitizing their members.
He stressed that no member should be left behind due to a lack of information regarding the April 30 deadline.
In his closing remarks, he described the current period as a time for “unity, participation, and responsibility,” reminding the faithful that a stronger NPP-UK starts with an accountable membership.
