Visiting the first lady at the Jubilee House last week to physically commend her for efforts in helping the needy and vulnerable in the society, the group said the decision to construct maternity blocks at both the Komfo Anokye and Korle-Bu Teaching Hospitals is ample evidence that the First lady values human life.
These constructions, the women noted will help to prevent the unfortunate deaths that were occurring at the Mother and Baby Units (MBU) of both hospitals.
They expressed profuse delight at the completed MBU unit at the Komfo Anokye, Teaching Hospital (KATH) adding the edifice possesses the requisite equipment to enable mothers get proper care when they visit to give birth.
LEADER OF DELEGATION:

This, she noted is a clear sign that the first lady knows the purpose God placed her near the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Mrs Ampomah also used the occasion to thank Mrs Akufo-Addo for assuring the women’s wing of resources to make their work effective at all levels.
WIFE OF THE PRESIDENT:
