Founder and leader of the Calvary Charismatic Center (CCC) has advised Ghanaians to unite and support each other as COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Ghana and other parts of the world.
Pastor Ransford Obeng who was addressing a section of the Media in Kumasi Wednesday ahead of a national day of fasting and prayer explained that the measures being taken by the government although will help save lives, will cause suffering across board.
He however stressed the need for all to rally behind the government and show love and compassion in order to fight the global pandemic.
“The employed are fewer than the unemployed. The few workers have a lot of dependents and we must therefore be one another’s keeper. There will be suffering. All sectors of the economy will suffer. We can only overcome the condition with love and unity” he explained.
Pastor Obeng also appealed to Ghanaians to have faith in God in these trying times and pray on their own. He encouraged Ghanaians to observe all the hygiene and preventive measures put in place to fight the spread of COVID-19.
