Live beyond fear-Pastor Ransford Obeng teaches

The General Overseer of Calvary Charismatic Centre (CCC), Pastor Ransford Obeng has urged Christians to live out their belief boldly rather than to allow fear to take them captive.

According to him, fear dispels faith and anyone that wallowed in fear is bound to make a lot of mistakes in life.

Speaking at the church’s midweek service last Wednesday in Ayigya, a suburb of the Kumasi Metropolis, Pastor Obeng encouraged Christians to hold on to their confession and profession of faith boldly.

He intimated that the devil being fully aware of the fact that a confident Christian is difficult to conquer is bent on upstaging that belief with fear.

‘’The devil knows that once our confidence is in Christ he will employ every arsenal including fear to upstage us in the belief we have’’, Pastor Obeng stressed.

TRANSFORMATION:
Pastor Ransford wondered why many Christians still feel they cannot overcome life’s challenges by just having faith in God.

‘’We should do away with the mentality we often entertain that something bad will happen to us and rather allow the word of God to shape and renew our mindsets’’, the Servant of God rallied.

According to him, once the Lord Jesus is in control of the lives of believers there is nothing that can upstage them.

‘’The problem has always been that some of us don’t fully trust the Lord to fulfill all that he has promised to do for us so we have the penchant of seeking for solutions from mediums not ordained by God’’, Pastor Obeng posited.

He noted Christians can overcome every temptation to fear by surrendering their lives to God first and allowing God to have his way.

ADMONITION:
Pastor Obeng urged believers to cultivate the habit of reading the Bible and abiding in prayer at all times.

These two, he mentioned are the weapons the Christian will daily need and use to defeat the unexplained fear that often creeps to their hearts and minds.

According to him, many have fallen victims to unscrupulous and self styled men of God because they displayed bouts of fear.

These false men of God, the Pastor explained rather than helping their members compound the fear in them by providing scary directions which are not grounded in the word of God.

Pastor Obeng, therefore, tasked Christians to apply their hearts to the studying of the Scriptures and prayer so as to overcome every fear that may come up in the walk with the Lord.
