I’m Confident of Securing 4th Term- Hon Patricia Appiagyei of Asokwa

The incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Asokwa, Hon Patricia Appiagyei says she is confident that delegates in Asokwa will reward her with a 4th term mandate.

Speaking on Boss 93.7 fm in Kumasi to Wofa Kofi Appiah, Hon Appiagyei said the work she had done will make it easier for the delegates to make a choice in her.

Speaking about education, Madam Appiagyei mentioned that she had made investments in more than 500 people.

“I believe in empowering people and to  ensure that those who need education to the highest level are provided with such opportunities”, the MP stated.

On youth employment, the MP said fifteen (15) persons who qualified to be enlisted into the security services had been supported by her outfit to achieve that.

Many others, she noted have been supported to do something on their own including women who needed monetary assistance to expand their businesses.

On investments into education, the MP said apart from scholarship provisions, Asokwa Basic and Secondary schools had been supplied with books, furniture,  library materials, computers and many others including the construction of classroom blocks to enhance teaching and learning.

Madam Appiagyei mentioned the construction of a more spacious maternity block, the construction of the Lady Julia Clinic and the ongoing construction of two storey health center at Old Asokwa as investments she had led into the health and welfare of the constituents.

She also mentioned two astro turfs that had been constructed in Asokwa as a result of her lobbying skills.

“I am committed to doing more for the people of Asokwa with my lobbying skills and influence and just as we attained Municipal status and gotten our roads issues solved through my efforts we will together achieve more when i am offered a 4th term”, Madam Appiagyei stated.

Speaking on behalf of the Assembly Members at the Asokwa Municipal on the show, Agogo North elected representative, Hon Eric Osei said the Asokwa MP had ensured that their work were done seamlessly.

He said apart from attending meetings and contributing to discussions with her vast knowledge in local governance, Madam Appiagyei had been lobbying and supporting them with resources that enable them to perform their duties conveniently.

“We the Assembly members are very happy with the performance of Madam Patricia Appiagyei and we are convinced that a 4th term mandate would enable her to continue with many initiatives she has started”, the Assembly member noted.
