I will be a better leader for Nhyiaeso-Abraham Boadi

Ghana News–An aspiring Nhyiaeso constituency chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Abraham Boadi popularly called ‘Opooman’ says he represents the change members of the party have been clamoring for in the Nhyieaso community.

According to him, it was time leaders who practiced autocratic style of administration are done way with for a more friendly type of executives.

This friendly leadership style, the aspirant noted is what he was bringing on board as he contests the incumbent chairman who has for the past 23 years held sway of the chairmanship seat of the NPP in the elite community.

Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper in Kumasi, Mr Boadi, who is the current Presiding Member of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) expressed his determination to unseat the incumbent in the upcoming internal polls in the constituency.

‘’I am presenting myself to the good people of Nhyiaeso as someone who will not intimidate or threaten them in the conduct of my duties as constituency chairman but as a person who believes in the sharing of ideas to better the lot of our people’’, Mr Boadi opined.

VISION:
Espousing his vision, Mr Boadi said he is presenting a transparent and accountable leadership to the people of Nhyaieso where resources and logistics provided to the party will be transparently accounted for by the executives.

This style, he noted will make room for members in the constituency to approach whoever is in an elected office with questions about the conduct of party activities.

The aspirant promises to avail himself to scrutiny and suggestions from all delegates and party members so that together they could build a better front.
He pledges to ensure the efficient use of party resources where each executive member would account for every dime he or she spends.
‘’I come to this seat with the assurance that I will be diligent and transparent in my duties as I also ensure that all other executives conduct themselves in same manner’’, Opooman posited.

YOUTH:
Mr Boadi promised to ensure the youth in the community are given support in areas they need same for to ensure they use their talents to build the NPP branch.

Scholarship packages and artisanal training schemes could be developed to empower the youth to put premium on themselves.

‘Opooman’ promised to use his influence to secure job opportunities for members of the constituency particularly the youth.

This, he maintained will make them live responsible lives and be able to contribute their quota towards the planning of activities for the party in the upcoming 2020 elections.

‘’If this great party of ours will succeed it will depend on the investments we will put in our youth and that is why I am committed to resourcing them when am elected as constituency chairman’’, Mr Boadi assured.
