Chief warns against invocation of deities in disputes

A chief has advised against invoking deities in the cause of disputes.

Nana Kwasi Nimako Ampraw, told ghanagong.com’s Bernard Buachi that those deities work when invoked and should not be taken for granted.

He said one might not even be aware he has been left to the deities and hence may not take any action and therefore lose his life. “The sad thing is that, your innocent wife and children who know nothing about your dealings could be added to the invocation and may lose their lives if you are found guilty of the issue in dispute” he explained.

“Even when you know you have been left in the hands of these deities, reversing these invocations are not easy and any little thing left out could result in your demise” he went on.

He was speaking on the sidelines of a similar invocation by some NPP youth in the Asokwa constituency against the leadership of their party. They alleged some leaders had taken bribes and kicked the only contender of the sitting MP out of the primaries.

He advised the party’s top brass to take up the matter and ensure that justice prevails since the action taken by the pained youths will definitely have an impact on the targeted persons and their families. He explained that what the young people did, if indeed their allegations are true, could lead to the demise of innocent family members of the party executives mentioned.
