We’ll vote for credible candidates-Asokwa NPP Executives

Constituency Executives of the Asokwa branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have resolved to vote for credible candidates in the upcoming regional elections.

According to the executives, rather than supporting a group of candidates who have pitched camp and campaigning together as a team they would vote for individuals contesting the executive elections based on their strengths and competencies.

Welcoming Francis Adomako, an aspiring Regional Organizer to the constituency office in Ahensan, the Second Vice-Chairman of Asokwa NPP, Michael Manu Addo (Malik) on behalf of the executives urged aspirants contesting the upcoming polls to be watchful of their conduct.

He called for a clean campaign and urged them to deliver their messages with careful words that have the potential to unifying the party even after the polls.

‘’We as a constituency have vowed to vote for candidates who are knowledgeable and competent to hold the offices they are seeking to occupy because we need to consolidate the grounds we have gained with credible persons as NPP executives’’, the second- vice reiterated.

YOUTH ORGANIZER:

Speaking at the gathering, Frank Bosompim, Asokwa Youth Organizer reminded the party’s regional aspirants that their conduct, adding it will be a considering factor for delegates in deciding who they vote for.

He noted the NPP delegates do not want persons with rowdy behaviors or those who possess violent tendencies.

The party, he noted want persons with credible and unquestionable character to man the various offices up for contest.

These attributes, he mentioned is key for the party hanging on to power for long since the electorate will only endorse the political party that has credible personalities in future general elections.

‘’We will only vote for candidates whose behavior and conduct are taint-less and without question because we do not need a rowdy person to be our leader’’. The youth organizer noted.

ASPIRANT:

In his succinct remarks, Mr Francis Adomako, a university lecturer who is popularly known as ‘Francois’ thanked the constituency executives for the advice and encouragement offered him.

He pledged to conduct the rest of his campaign in a calm manner just as he started and promised to only project what he can do when he is given the nod as regional organizer.

Mr Adomako promised to resource the constituency where he served two terms as organizer when elected as regional officer.

He intimated his resolve to abide by the attitude that ensured he worked peacefully with people wherever he served in the party previously and urged the executives to vote for him in the upcoming elections.

‘’You can all attest to the kind of selfless service I rendered to this particular constituency when I served as its organizer and I am committed to using the very attributes that distinguishes me from others to serve the entire region when elected as regional organizer’’, Mr Adomako posited passionately.
