Yammin scoffs Nana Addo/Bawumia candidature for 2016

Joseph YamminDeputy Ashanti regional minister, Joseph Yammin has scoffed at the Nana Akufo-Addo/Mahamudu Bawumia NPP ticket saying it won’t stop the ruling NDC from achieving a one touch victory in the 2016 general election in Ghana.

The Deputy Minister who spoke to rawgist.com soon after addressing NDC faithful at Abono in the Bosomtwe constituency explained that the NDC keeps increasing its votes in the Ashanti region whiles on the contrary, the Nana Addo led NPP keeps obtaining dwindling figures consistently.

He also expressed the party’s confidence in its ability to win ten parliamentary seats within the region which is mainly considered a chief NPP stronghold.

Currently, the NDC has its grips on 4 parliamentary seats in the region including New Edubiase, Asawase, Tepa and Drobonso.

Joseph Yammin who has emerged as one of the NDC’s chief campaign strategists tells rawgist.com there is an elaborate plan already in motion to enable the NDC attain one million votes within the Ashanti region; the attainment of which will hugely impact the results of the general elections.

He discounts the formidability of the candidates presented by the NPP saying they pose no threat at all to the NDC’s fortunes and adds that the NPP does not have what it takes to win election 2016.
