We’ll win 2024 elections by working as party in opposition-Justin Kodua tells Crusaders, others

WE’LL WIN 2024 ELECTIONS BY WORKING AS PARTY IN OPPOSITION—-JUSTIN KODUA TELLS CRUSADERS, OTHERS.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua says the New Patriotic Party stands a chance of doing more than eight years in power if they can work like the opposition party before the 2024 elections.

Addressing party faithfuls during the official launch of the Crusaders group, a youthful group with lineage to the NPP, Lawyer Kodua said the party can do much with its policies in government as well as the energy of its youth ahead of 2024 elections.

Lawyer Kodua said the Crusaders group has shown the way to achieving positive results with the kind of campaign it waged during the 2020 electioneering period.

With the party having retained power and possessing power to implement effective policies for the further development of the country,  the YEA boss said the NPP has hope of breaking the two year term mandate it has enjoyed.

“I commend Clement Osei who showed by example that one man can lead a revolution in this party by working to get results and I believe the NPP can win the 2024 with such work as if we are in opposition”, the YEA boss intimated.

OTHER SPEAKERS:
Addressing the participants earlier,  Nelson Owusu Ansah, aspiring regional secretary of the NPP commended the Crusader for its dedicated service.

He noted that the groups output and commitment to campaign wherever they found necessary was what catapulted the party to record the numbers it needed to win the 2020 elections.

Bernard Antwi Bosiako, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP also lauded the group for its commitment and operations during the 2020 campaign.

He encouraged them to work hard and just as the NPP granted him opportunity in his youthful years to become regional chairman, the members of Crusaders could rise to become useful persons in the party.

Isaac Bonsu, a youth organiser aspirant urged that the youth take entrepreneurial training serious so that they could do something on their own.

He noted that since the formal sector was choked with payroll suffering congestion it was important that Ghanaian youths such as Crusaders take advantage of entrepreneurial stuff to empower themselves.

DEAN:
Narrating how tortuous the journey had been, Clement Osei, Dean of Crusaders said he had only a megaphone to preach the good news of the NPP, an enterprise he carried out alone amidst hunger before getting some friends to share in his vision.

He noted that the group had come thus far because some party faithfuls and members who are now the group’s patrons decided to support them to carry out their activities across the Ashanti region.

The Dean said the group was revitalised to do more but would rely on the support of the NPP party as well as government appointees.

“Crusaders are solidly resolved to work for the NPP party and also explore avenues to get employment for our members who are home and doing nothing”, the Dean noted.
