Ashanti Regional NPP Chairmen Association elects New executives 

THE ASHANTI Regional Chairmen Association of the ruling New Patriotic Party, (NPP) over the weekend elected  New executives to coordinate activities of the party.

Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, the Afigya Kwabre constituency chairman was elected as the new chairman of the Ashanti Regional Constituency  Chairmen’s Association, which comprises all the 47 constituencies in the region.

Other executives elected include Patrick Adu-Gyamfi (Vice  Chairman),  Samuen  Antwi,Boasiako (Secretary), Akwasi Nti Asamoah (organizer) and Addai Poku Aikins, Bosomtwe constituency chairman as Treasurer.

The rest are Yaw Bonna Boadi and Kwabana Ameyaw as advisers.

Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, in his remarks commended the association, for the confidence reposed in them  as executives. He promised the region will remain the world Bank of the ruling party under their tenure.

He called for the continued support of party members in their quest to achieve great things for the party.

He further disclosed that, one major focus of the Odeneho-led executive, is to coordinate effectively and ensure  absolute peace before, during and after the internal Party contests in the various constituencies of the region which is slated from January to May, 2018.

According to the new chairman, it has become very necessary at this particular moment for all 47 constituencies to unite, especially in the face of Ghananians’ high expectations from the Nana Addo-led NPP government.

Chairman Odeneho, who has held several important positions prior to the unprecedented NPP electoral victory in 2016, pointed out clearly, that his leadership was going to ensure they work closely and effectively with all the party structures and laid down party procedures, in making sure the impending election is carried out smoothly and in the spirit of tolerance.

Odeneho Kwaku Appiah assured that they were going to be transparent in their dealings while making sure they remain relevant during their stay in office.

The new executives, according to the Chairman, will lead the way in ensuring government’s policies and programmes are properly disseminated to members of the party and Ghanaians in general in their various constituencies.

He said the executives intend to get closer to the people on a daily basis, and set up adequate and proper channels for complaints resolution at the grassroots.
