We commit to a clean campaign-Asokwa NPP Executive hopefuls pledge

Aspiring constituency executives in Asokwa have pledged to conduct clean campaigns ahead of the upcoming polls.

They have also committed to stick to the propagation of their visions as they meet delegates across the electoral areas of the constituency.

Addressing delegates at the Atonsu Electoral Area last week, the aspirants in turns promised to conduct insult free campaigns.

They committed to prosecuting issue based campaigns as they interact with delegates across the electoral areas.

PLEDGES:
Speaking earlier, aspiring chairman, Akwannuasah Gyimah promised to stick to his competencies and project himself for the position he was aspiring to.

He tasked his supporters to only project the work he had done previously as a member of the party and recently as First Vice-Chair of the constituency.

Mr Edmund Kyei, an aspiring first vice chair also indicated his commitment to embarking on a clean campaign.

He promised to use his privileged position as an aide to the Vice President to lobby for opportunities for the constituency.

Oscar Anane, an aspiring secretary pledged his determination to sell the ideas he has to delegates as he tours the electoral areas.
This, he believes will serve the party as well as himself well since many knew how he had worked for the party in previous years.

Papa Yaw Asare-Bediako, another aspiring secretary pledged his desire to use the knowledge he has gained in technology to advance the course of the constituency when elected into office.

He also assured delegates of conducting a clean campaign since all who were in the race are his brothers and sisters.

Richard Kusi and Eric Osei, both assembly men at Atonsu and Gyinyase electoral areas respectively promised to propagate their visions to the delegates since that is the most important thing.

They urged their supporters not to campaign for them by the use of insults or false allegations.

Mr Gabriel Bosompim (Tomtom) and Chairman Victor, youth organizer and first vice-chair hopefuls also assured delegates of clean campaign.

They insisted that their work will speak for them and not the insults they will churn out whilst campaigning.

COMMENDATION:
Addressing the aspirants, Atonsu electoral area coordinator, Mr Asante Amoabeng commended them for the show of maturity.

He encouraged them to stick to the promises allow delegates to decide who was best for the positions.

According to him, the NPP delegates are discerning and will vote for those who conduct themselves well.

He also took the opportunity to commend the MP for Asokwa, Madam Patricia Appiagyei for ensuring that the constituency becomes a peaceful one.
