Stop campaigning and work- NDC communicator to Bawumia

Mr. Agbenya Precious, Political analyst has charged His. Excellency Dr. Mahammudu Bawumia, the Vice President of Ghana to stop complaining and passing comments as if he is on a political campaign platform.

According to Mr. Agbenya, the attitude and utterances of the Vice President makes it seem as though the country is still in an electioneering period.

Dr. Bawumia, before the elections last year was constantly criticising then President; John Dramani Mahama and calling him names prominent among them being “incompetent”.

Mr. Agbenya however says six months down the line, the NPP government is already failing Ghanaians.

He says the cost of living has become high and unbearable compared to the previous government’s time in office.

“Dr. Bawumia who was leading the campaign against government borrowing is now the Chief borrower in the current NPP government, while his master the President is on a worldwide tour. As if that were not enough, they have appointed an unprecedented number ministers in the country’s history.”

He pointed to a myriad of campaign promises the NPP made during their campaigns and asserted that the government has no moral right to talk about corruption since they are gaining notoriety for that.

Mr. Agbenya says he expected to see new regions springing up in the country as promised by the NPP as well as a new factory in each district. “I’m amazed that the nursing and teacher trainee allowances have still not been restored as they promised to have done by now”, he said in an interaction with rawgist.com’s Ernest Best Anane.
