We are on the move-Nana Ama Ampomah hints of vigorous campaign

The Ashanti Regional Women Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Ama Ampomah says the wing is determined to reach every home with the good news of the party.

Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer newspaper after the launch of the regional women campaign team at the Kumasi Center for National Culture, Madam Ampomah noted that their task is cut out for them.

This task, she indicated is an arduous one but said the wing is buoyed by the support from its members across the region to enable them achieve its target.

Madam Ampomah, popularly known as “Pretty Giant” also noted the preparedness of the team to embark on a house and door to door campaign while observing all the COVID-19 protocols.

“We are ready to execute the task given to us as campaign team and we know we can fall on our numerous members to help us achieve our set target “, Madam Ampomah stated.

CAMPAIGN MESSAGE:
Madam Ampomah said the team would do nothing but harp on the good policies the NPP government has implemented since it won power in 2016.

She noted that every home has benefitted from the policies of the NPP, adding that it makes the work of the campaign team easier.

People, she stressed can easily identify with the policies such as free SHS, planting for food and jobs, one district one factory as well many others.

“We are setting out from today to remind residents of the policies the NanaAddo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government has implemented and we know that every house can testify of being beneficiary of one of these policies including the recent free water and electricity for households”, the women leader posited.

COMMENDATION:
Nana Ama Ampomah commended all the women organisers in the 47 constituencies as well as all the identifiable groups for supporting the women’s wing in its activities.

Groups such as Loyal Ladies, Crusaders, Samira Ladies as well as many others, she disclosed have voluntarily rendered service to the wing anytime it had organised events in the region.

The Women leader also commended Chief executive officers (CEOs), women on boards of organisations, ministers and deputy ministers, Members of Parliament (MPs) as well as other government appointees for their unrelenting support to the wing.

Madam Ampomah thanked the first lady, Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Hajia Samira Bawumia, second lady for showing care to the wing and mentioned that Madam Frema Osei Opare, the Chief of Staff as well as Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Exim Bank-Ghana, Nana Ama Poku have also supported her wing anytime it called on them for assistance.
