A youth-focused Christian group by name Voice of Greatness (VOG) last weekend launched its maiden outreach program to recruit interested persons into its fold.
The group, an initiative of one Pastor Emmanuel Asare aims at bringing the youth in churches as well as interested students across the metropolis together as well as polish their talents.
Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper at the meeting in Kumasi, Minister Joseph Oteng Amponsah, Country-Director of VOG said the group realizes that there is greatness in every person on the face of the earth.
He noted that Voice of Greatness therefore exists to work with the Christian youth so as to help bring out the greatness in them.
‘’Our group was basically borne out of a desire in our leader, Pastor Emmanuel Asare who believes every person has some sense of greatness or uniqueness in himself or herself and therefore the need to polish those traits up to the glory of God’’, Minister Oteng revealed.
Throwing more light on the mission of the group, Minister Oteng said the group aims at winning all Christian youth in Ghana as well as those on social media platforms into its fold.
VOG, the country director noted is committed to impacting the youth with the right kind of motivational messages, worship songs and lifestyle so they live life to its fullest.
Rather than leaving the youth especially those in church to be lured into occultism, VOG, the Minister posited is providing better alternatives for the youth to bring out the greatness hidden in their persons.
The group, the country director mentioned is focusing on all talents in the country and was carefully observing how the Christian youth would demonstrate their talents in better ways than conforming to the world’s standards.
‘’We are called to demonstrate greatness in everything we do and therefore our mission as a group is to identify Christians in all spheres and fields so their talents are harnessed for optimum results’’, Minister Oteng noted.
Reaching out to the youth, the country director asked that interested persons join the VOG group by contacting them on Instagram, Facebook or You-tube by typing VOICE OF GREATNESS on either of the handles.
Minister Oteng stressed the group exists to provide support to all who are willing to be a part of it as they work together to polish talents in areas such as acting, singing, soccer, photography, cloth designing, musical instruments playing as well as many others.
Present at the maiden launch of VOG in Kumasi were Pastor A.B Samuel, Head of Psalms Institute for Worship-Music, Media and Arts (PIWMMA) and Ransford Asare Bediako, an Assemblies of God (AG) Minister as well as some notable leaders of the VOG movement.
