The Managing Director of the State Transport Company(STC), Nana Akomea has appealed to officials and workers of the State Company to partner him to make the brand the obvious choice of travelers in the country.
According to him, the new STC possesses all the qualities that would make it a vibrant brand, adding the efforts of workers would greatly help to restore the company’s image back to its original status.
Addressing a management meeting in Kumasi, Mr Akomea tasked officials and workers to provide quality service to its customers.
This, he posited would make the brand the most appealing to the Ghanaian public and travelers across the country
DWINDLING IMAGE:
The MD bemoaned the dwindled image of the state transporter but promised to ensure it is resuscitated to play the role it was known for previously.
He asked that officials conduct themselves in manners that would endear the company to the public and make the brand the travelers choice.
Nana Akomea entreated staff to bring their professional expertise to the rebranding of the company since it will need that to attract customers to its fold.
He also requested that workers act with discipline at all times so as to carve a niche for the company, adding people like to go where they are treated well.
LAUNCH:
He announced the launch of the Kumasi Office on Tuesday and promised to ensure travelers are given the best treatment on board the state vehicles.
According to him, the Kumasi Market was important to the company’s fortunes since many nationals as well workers from other parts of West Africa conducted their businesses in the metropolis.
Others, he mentioned also used the Kumasi route for their personal businesses, adding it was important for the company to give the best of services to its customers in the metropolis.
The routes in Kumasi will be from Kumasi to Accra, Kumasi to Elubo, Kumasi To Bolgatanga, Kumasi to Sunyani, Kumasi to Aflao and many others.
