Political scientist at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST),Dr.Edward Brenya says NPP’s flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo is tearing NPP apart and must learn from from President Mahama’s principles of unifying the NDC.
According to him, President John Dramani Mahama is uniting the NDC whiles Nana Addo is tearing the NPP apart.
He said this during an interview on the Royal Morning Show with Sir Richmond Antwi Boasiako.
According to Dr.Brenya, President Mahama has realized that winning elections in the NDC depends on the Rawlings’ factor.
He noted that during appointments and reshuffles, President Mahama addressed the concerns of the Rawlings’ factions which has brought great unity into the NDC.
He reiterated,although there have been some misunderstandings in the NDC President Mahama has addressed them in the quiet.
Dr.Brenya however stated that if the NPP does not address such issues of division pertaining to various camps in the party, then 2016 will be a by-gone for NPP.
