‘NaBCo will make NDC members vote for us’-Edmund Kyei

Ghana News–The First Vice-Chairman of Asokwa branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) says a second term victory for his party will be made easy with the introduction of the Nation Builders Corps program.

According to Edmund Kyei, the youth stands to be empowered by this employment enhancing module.

Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper over the weekend, the Vice-Chair said with the open application method every unemployed graduate will benefit from the NABCO module.

Mr Kyei predicted that with the success of the module youthful elements within the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will turn and vote for the NPP in 2020.

‘’I promise you that members of the NDC especially their youth will in 2020 vote for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo because of the successes NABCO will chalk after its roll out’’, the NPP Vice-Chair predicted.

APPEAL:

Mr Kyei has advised the youth who have their diploma and degree certificates to apply to be part of NABCO.

According to him, apart from the monthly GHC 700.00 allowance beneficiaries will receive when they are signed on the modules they will also exit after three years with excellent skills to start something on their own.

With the modules including Clean Ghana, Digitize Ghana, Heal Ghana and Revenue Ghana, the Ghanaian youth with various education and qualification will have platforms to upgrade themselves, Mr Kyei noted.

‘’I will urge the youth of this country to take advantage of this brilliant idea from the President and enroll with their diplomas and degrees on NABCO so that they can graduate from this program fully baked for sustainable employment’’, the Asokwa Vice-Chair posited.

CAUTION:

Mr Kyei has however cautioned some elements in the NDC to stop bastardizing the skills and empowerment program.

According to him, no matter how politicians differ in opinions as to how a policy is implemented issues about employment should never be downgraded.

The fact that the NDC could not implement such value addition programs does not mean when the NPP is determined to carrying out NABCO it should be spoken against, Mr Kyei noted.

‘’I urge the NDC minority in parliament and other elements in the NDC to desist from bastardizing the NABCO program because it is something that will enable the youth of this country add value to themselves for future employment’’,  Mr.  Kyei cautioned.
