I have not declared support for any aspirant-Adansehene

The Chief of Adanse, Pagyakotwere Afriyie Bonsra II says he has not declared his support for any aspirant seeking to represent the NPP in its upcoming parliamentary primaries.

Reacting to media reports that suggested he had endorsed the incumbent MP for the area, KT Hammond, Pagyakotwere Bonsra said nowhere has he declared support for any one.

He noted that as the chief of Adanse his interest is to get a person who hails from the community as MP.

According to him, an MP from Adanse  would ensure the development of the communities within the Adansi Asokwa constituency.

“I have not declared support to any of the aspirants seeking to lead the NPP in their party’s primaries”, Adansehene stated.

CLARIFICATION:
Touching on projects in the community,  the Chief said Adanse deserves better than what it sees now.

According to him, having voted for the NPP for long the people in the community wanted to see more since the party was now in government.

The incumbent MP, the Chief clarified was made the chief of progress and noted more development projects were expected to be carried out.

“I want to be clear on this that the people of Adanse do not need to show support to any of the aspirants seeking for office but rather wants a person who can help the development of the area as MP”, the Adansehene posited.

PEACE:
The Chief called on all political parties to be ambassadors of peace.

The country, he intimated can only enjoy development when there was peace.

He urged that as the electioneering period rears its head all actors demonstrate humaneness in all they do.

He urged the parties to be truthful with the people as they go about their activities ahead of the 2020 general elections.
