We are determined to govern for 16 years- Collins Amankwah predicts

The Member of Parliament for Manhyia-North, Hon Collins Owusu Amankwah has stressed the determination of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to govern the country for the next Sixteen (16) years.

This, he noted is to ensure the country is put on a sound economic footing befitting its status as a land endowed with both natural and human resource potentials.

Addressing party faithful, constituency executives and the media during a dinner he organized to show appreciation for the support he had been given as MP, Hon Amakwah said the Ghanaian people deserve better in terms of governance.

The NPP, he intimated is therefore committed to ensuring it prosecutes the mandate given to it by developing every sector of the economy to ease the burden on the populace.

PRIORITY AREAS OF GOVERNMENT:
According to the youthful leader, the Ghanaian people deserve and need to have the best of health care.

This, he indicated is the reason why the Nana Addo Dankwa government is committed to revamping the ailing health insurance system to make it more functional as was instituted by the John Agyekum Kufuor administration.

Job creation, the MP said is crucial to this government and mentioned the one district one factory policy is aimed at getting the youth and unemployed something to do wherever they are based.

According to him, the year 2018 will be used to vigorously pursue job creation ventures so as to ensure money comes into the hands of the people at all times.

VISION:
Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper later, Hon Amankwah noted his desire is to build a prosperous constituency where each and everyone would have work to do.

He mentioned the decision by his outfit to invest more into education, health and youth empowerment programs in the constituency.

Hon Amakwah indicated his intent to lobby for more developmental projects to the constituency to hasten the pace of development in the area.

He promised to ensure the roads in the constituency are upgraded to the levels befitting the status of Manhyia-North, an urban community.

Security in the community, the MP noted is a prime interest to him and mentioned his desire to collaborate with the Police to make the constituency are safe one.
