hayford_osei_bempahThe only independent parliamentary aspirant for the Suame Constituency, Hayford Osei Bempah has revealed his appearance in the upcoming race was to be the change the constituency longs for.

Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper after picking his nomination forms to contest as Member of Parliament at the precincts of the Electoral Commission office in Kumasi, the businessman noted his desire to lead the wave of change in the arena of job creation.

He stressed the youth could do more with their God-given talents if government and the incumbent MP, Osei-Kyei -Mensah Bonsu had provided avenues of employment.

Currently, he disclosed the Suame Community boasts of the largest youth in internet fraud, popularly called Sakawa.

PROMISE:
Stressing with confidence, Mr Osei-Bempah promised to reverse the negative tag on the constituency.

He intimated his desire to impart the knowledge he had acquired from his trade if he was elected as MP for the area.

According to him, with the constituency having the biggest hub for artisans in mechanical training, the youth in the constituency could be supported to explore more avenues in automobile manufacturing.

He insisted countries like China and Japan, having identified the strengths of their youth chose to empower those who had talents in the mechanical field.

This, he revealed had turned out to be the catalyst for them building a prosperous and highly skilled workforce and citizenry.

PLANS:
Indicating his vision for the Suame Constituency, the two time independent MP aspirant said he envisages a skilled constituency.

He promised to pump enough capital and resources into the development of the artisanal enclave.

Mr Bempah believes the opening up of the National Vocational Training Institute which is situated in the area could attract more youth in the area to learning a trade or skill for better life in future.

He also, pledged to provide small scale enterprises with soft loans so as to enable them open up and create more avenues  for the employment of the youth.
