Give us more resources to deliver victory in 2020-Dennis Kwakwa

DENNIS Kwakwa, Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) speaking at the just ended youth conference in Tamale

The Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dennis Kwakwa has challenged the leadership of the party to commit more resources to the wing.

This, he noted would enable them to execute the strategic plan of the Ashanti Regional Youth in securing more votes for the NPP.

According to him, the youth in Ashanti were ready to lead the party once again into a landslide victory in next year’s election.

Speaking at the just ended National Youth Conference in Tamale, Mr Kwakwa said it was important that the youth are  properly resourced to carry out their duties.

DETAILS:
Mr Kwakwa noted that the Ashanti Region was not just the stronghold, but also occupying a strategic landmark location on the Political map of Ghana.

According to him, the party’s success in 2020 will be largely dependent on the region.

He therefore asked the leadership of the NPP to ensure that the Ashanti region is adequately resourced in order to effectively and efficiently lead the course of victory in the 2020 polls.

Mr Kwakwa said the enthusiasm of the Ashanti NPP should be sustained to attract other regions to raise their campaigns towards the upcoming general election in 2020.

STRATEGY:
Outlining some strategies towards membership mobilization, the youth organiser stated that he was going to lead a targeted agenda for first time voters who are beneficiaries of government’s free SHS policy.

He noted that this would ensure the party benefits from the implementation of good policies for the youth.

Mr Kwakwa also briefed the conference on how the youth were leading an onslaught to ensure the party wins all the 47 seats on the upcoming parliamentary elections in 2020.

He concluded that the Ashanti Region under the leadership of Chairman Wontumi would surely deliver 30-35% of the 50%+1 popular votes for Nana Akufo-Addo to retain power in 2020.
