Your time is here-Edmund Kyei challenges youth

A Communication Team Member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Edmund Kyei has rallied the youth of the country to lay hold of opportunities being created by the president, Nana Akufo-Addo to make their lives count.

According to him, a lot of employment avenues exist in the creation of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan(NEIP).

This new initiative which entails the injection of a seed capital of 100 million dollars, the NPP Communication officer said is a bold statement the president is making to the youth that the time is ripe for them to explore their talents.

The NEIP, Mr Kyei explained provides a positive platform for young entrepreneurs to show the innovations and programs they have developed to access capital for its expansion.

JOB CREATION:
According to the Communicator, with the utilization of the NEIP platform many youth could have access to various forms of employment.

This, he mentioned is due to several modules that exist on the program which is aimed at resourcing the youth with capital.

He, therefore, urged the youth to grab the opportunities that lie on the NEIP to enhance the talents they possess and also use same to employ others.

Mr Kyei, who is an aspiring 1st Vice-Chairman of the NPP in the Asokwa Constituency stressed the commitment of the NPP to helping the youth of the country to secure decent jobs.

ADVICE:
Mr Kyei asked that members of the public including NPP party members to exercise restraint in their outbursts about lack of jobs.

According to him, modules such as the ones available on the NEIP and Youth Employment Agency(YEA) are some of the areas the government expects the youth to be engaged on.

He urged the youth to access the job creation avenues under the current administration so as to be able to stand on their feet and live responsible lives.

The NPP government, Mr Kyei posited is also committed to exploring all avenues to provide more jobs for the youth and the unemployed in the country.
