NDC has no confidence in Northern regional minister-NPP

ndc-nppThe NPP in the Northern Region has described the Northern Regional Minister as someone who  the NDC does not have confidence and  trust in.

Unlike other Regions such as the Ashanti Region where the Regional Minister is the Campaign Manager, the Northern Regional Campaign Manager is the Minister  of Agriculture. This is a clear indication that the NDC lacks  trust in the Northern Regional Minister, Hon. Abdallah Abubakari.

Addressing a cross section of residents of Mamprugu in Tamale, the Northern Regional Secretary of the NPP, Mr Sule Salifu, cautioned voters in the  Region especially those in Mamprugu and Walewale  not  to vote for the NDC and and the Regional Minister who is contesting as MP for the Walewale constituency because he lacks the influence and the trust of his own party to bring any development or  initiative to  the suffering  people of the Region . The Regional Secretariat of the NPP also appealed to the electorates not to exchange Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia  who will be  a competent Vice President and Head of the  economic management team when the NPP wins in December  for a Regional Minister who doesn’t have the confidence and  trust of his own party and therefore brought in during injury time for propaganda reasons.

According to Mr Salifu, even in opposition, Dr Bawumia has elevated  the 3 Northern Regions to a different level and  will do all things possible to bridge the developmental  gap between the South and North as promised by the flagbearer of the NPP  through several policy interventions.

The Regional Secretary added that there was nothing new for the NDC to do for the North. “If 8 years has not been enough for the NDC under President Mahama to do good for the North, this is not the time”, he added.

A vote for Nana/Bawumia would be the best thing to happen to Ghana on December 7.
