Wulensi: NPP unite for victory after fracture

The ruling New Patriotic Party in the Wulensi constituency has resolved to unite for victory in the upcoming parliamentary elections on December 7.

This became necessary when the two feuding factions in the June 20 NPP parliamentary primaries came together last Saturday to pledge unity for victory.

The loser in the just ended primaries, Alhaji Abdulai Haroun indicated that his love for the party is more than his own personal interest and therefore could not sit and watch the party lose the seat in the constituency.

He called on his supporters to rally behind the incumbent MP and winner of the primaries Hon. Thomas Donkoh Ugaja.

To affirm his support for the MP, Alhaji Haroun donated fifteen motorbikes, hundred plastic chairs and a cash amount of ten thousand Ghana cedis to the party.

He mentioned that he was ready to do whatever within his means to ensure victory for the president and the MP in the constituency.

The MP and the parliamentary candidate for the Wulensi constituency, Hon. Thomas Donkoh Ugaja expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his contender and promised of ensuring the party gets him something  in its next government.

The northern regional minister, Hon Salifu Saeed, former northern regional minister, Hon. Prince Imoro Andani and the party’s National first vice chairperson, Madam Rita Talaata Asobayire were there to witness the occasion and could not hide their excitements about the move by the two bigwigs of the party in the constituency to unite for victory.
