Be patient-Francis Adomako admonishes NPP members

The Ashanti Regional Organizer hopeful, Mr Francis Adomako has pleaded with members of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) to exercise bouts of patience so as to allow the government to settle in for the real business ahead of it.

He posited the NPP had only be in government for six months and it was too early for party members place demands on it.

Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper during the recent football gala he organized for 15 Constituencies in the Kumasi Metropolis, the KNUST lecturer bemoaned the aggressive nature some of the demands had been.

However, Mr Adomako admitted that it was normal for members to expect things from the party when they know they worked to ensure the NPP won last year’s elections.

ASSURANCE:
According to the regional organizer hopeful, every party member would receive what was due him or her when the government fully settles in.

Mr Adomako insisted the policies the government was about to roll out would be something that would benefit the entire populace and therefore the need for all to wait patiently for it.

Policy interventions, such as the free Senior High School, one village one dam, one million dollar constituency fund and the enhanced National Health Insurance Scheme, Mr Adomako noted would be a source of great relief for all in the country.

These policies when fully implemented , the regional organizer hopeful assured would ensure a turn-around of the country’s fortunes.

JOBS:
On the issue of job creation, the University lecturer intimated the resolve of the government to open up the market space for investors to launch out in style.

This, he promised would bring about job creation and employment opportunities for all including the youth and graduates who wallow in the streets for lack of jobs.

The one district one factory, Mr Adomako added was one of the surest ways of opening up the country’s economy since every district would have access to a factory or company where its youth could easily get employment opportunities for the very items they produced.

”I am very much convinced that Ghanaians especially the youth would get opportunity to put their skills and training to use once the policies that has been outlined by the government gets implemented very soon”, the regional organizer hopeful assured.

Mr Adomako later commended the football teams that participated in the gala competition. The cup was eventually won by the team from Asawasi with Oforikrom, Suame and Subin following in that order.

Present at the opening and closing ceremonies was the MP for Asokwa, Madam Patricia Appiagyei, Edmund Kyei, aspiring 1st Vice-Chair of Asokwa NPP and other dignitaries from the Youth Employment Agency, MASLOC.
