NPP suspends Afoko as chairman

NPPThe New Patriotic Party has arrived at a decision to suspend its Chairman Paul Afoko indefinitely.

rawgist.com sources reveal the party’s Council of elders sent a petition to the Disciplinary committee demanding that the Chairman be put aside.

He is accused of working against the interest of the party.

The decision is expected to be announced later today by the party.

The party’s 1st Vice Chairman Freddie Blay has taken over as acting Chairman.

Paul Afoko has been in the news for sometime now as being at variance with the party’s flagbearer and other leadership issues.

Earlier today, the headquarters of the party was the site of violence as a group known as the Bolga bulldogs clashed with the another security group within the party known as invincible forces destroying cars, motorbikes and other property and preventing pedestrians from using the road in front of the office.
