No Court Case; 1st Runner Up Congratulates KNUST Src Prez Elect

BNI AND LENINFor an election which was characterized with a lot of uncertainties and periodic court cases, this year’s KNUST SRC elections result appears to be one of the best elections in the past few years as leading losing candidates have congratulated executives elect and have indicated their unwillingness to pursue the matter in court.

In an interview on focus morning show, the first runner up in the election who most students thought would be taking the matter to court, Lenin Anane Agyei congratulated the president elect, Boakye Nyamekye Isaac, popularly known as BNI and assured him of his support for the current administration. Lenin further added that he would be willing to contribute his quota to help the BNI-led administration to promote the agenda of the university.

On his part, BNI, the president elect also stated that, Samuel Amoako Kusi, the second runner up has also indicated his support for the current administration. He stated that he would involve his opponents in his administration as he recounted his cordial relationship with the other opponents in this year’s election.

The president elect further outlined his plans of ensuring a 24 hour library system, ensuring deserving people benefit from KBN among others and reiterated his efforts to fulfil all his campaign promises. Boakye Nyamekye Isaac further added that his administration would continue all projects initiated by the Duke Aaron Sasu –led administration.
