The Minister of Education condemned the decision of the youngsters to kill the innocent teacher, stressing that the perpetrators of the heinous crime would be dealt with by the laws of the state.

“My ministry wil make sure that the security agencies would be given the full support so that anyone that has a hand in the killing of the innocent teacher will be made to face the law”, he assured.

Amid sobs, Napo stated that his ministry, the Eastern Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) and the various stakeholders, are determined to seek justice for the slain teacher, who was wrongly killed.

The Education Minister also assured that his ministry and the GES would offer the needed support to the bereaved family so that the late George Somuah Bosompem would be given a befitting burial.

Napo also appealed to the teachers of the Salvation Army Basic School at Asiakwa to quickly return to class and work, assuring them that nobody would harm them for educating the youth.

He also admonished teachers, especially, those that are fond of visiting the social media to peddle falsehood about the noble teaching profession, to desist from doing so, since their action doesn’t help anybody.
