Ghana’s economic stability at stake-NDC youth organizer hopeful

Ghana News–Precious Agbenya; Member of the communication team of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and youth organizer hopeful, has stated that, Ghana’s development and Economic Stability under the current NPP administration is at stake and needs strong brains to restore it.

According to him, economic stability of the country gives hope to the people that their basic needs including food security, clothing, shelter, education, good healthcare, employment among others are assured.

He observed that, this could be achieved only when a nation has a well established system of governance with accepted and time-tested mechanisms for electing, replacing governments, upholding fundamental human rights as well as institutional structures for protecting the sovereignty of the country.

He moreover, disclosed that , once the existence or prevalence of any of these elements is disturbed or threatened, a situation of national insecurity and instability is created.

“Ghanaians can attest to the fact that the economy is weak and the NPP government is quiet about it. Feeding three square meals a day is not easy, yet the finance minister is bragging about the growth of economy.”

He said the electorates weep each passing day because ordinary Ghanaians are really suffering, considering their Rent system now which is not easy to afford, while the security system is also weak because NPP political vigilantes are now in control of our security.

He expressed worry over how a leader of the invincible forces Alhassan Ibrahim Abandi in the Northern region beat his chest that the police cannot arrest them and yet nothing has been done about it.
