Pastor Samuel Ato has described the actions of under fire preacher, Bishop Dr. Daniel Obinim as satanic and does not deserve to be called “a man of God”.
According to him, the actions of the Preacher do not depict what the Bible Teaches.
In the past few days there have been viral audios and videos of Bishop Dr. Daniel Obinim circulating on various platforms indicating that he can turn into “snake” and other animals “through the power of God”.
As to whether such actions are from God, Pastor Ato describes the actions of Obinim as Satanic. He says the actions are not in line with the teachings of the Gospel.
Apostle Samuel Yaw Ato who was speaking on Joy FM, added that the current happenings are not strange to him as the Bible stated that there would be people who will be using the name of God to deceive others. He says Obinim’s actions have no bearing with Christianity according to Biblical teachings and are not from God.
Responding to how religious activities could be regulated to avoid people from being deceived, a private legal practioner and Patron of a leading Gospel Singing group, Ace Ankoma stated that regulation of religious activities is very delicate since most people attend out of their own volition. He however added that if there are clear abuses, it could be taken up by the court.
