Don’t undermine security persons-Francis Adomako jabs NDC

The Ashanti Regional Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Francis Adomako has cautioned the communications officer of the National Democratic Congress( NDC) to desist from antagonizing officers and men in the country’s security agencies.

According to the NPP executive, a video that shows the NDC spokesperson threatening some members of the security services is shameful and uncalled for.

Speaking to this reporter early Monday morning, the NPP regional executive noted that the security agencies should not be targeted for any political reason.

He stressed that the officers and men in the security services are charged by their code of conduct to stay off politics and added that any attempt to attack or antagonize them would not augur well for the country’s democracy.

Mr Adomako has meanwhile asked the service men and women as well as the media who are to cast their votes tomorrow to do so without any fear.

He noted that the terms and service conditions of the security agencies is not dependent on any political party but the State of Ghana.

Mr Adomako also asked all persons who are to cast their ballots on the special day to do so without let or hindrance.

He posited that by voting they would be shaping the future of the country by such action.

Mr  Adomako asked members of the NPP not let their guards down and think the election have been won already.

He said every vote counts and therefore there was the need to touch base with every voter in the areas they reside.

The regional organiser appealed to party executives to ensure the door to door strategy they designed are followed through at all the polling stations.

He urged that members also pray for victory while they work, adding that victory comes from the Lord.
