Bosomtwe DCE woos delegates with development projects

ndcResidents of Abono and the surrounding communities in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti Region will be compelled to vacate the place for development.

A number of residents from more than twenty communities are likely to be displaced from their abode for construction of road networks in the district.

Government has raised funds for a dual carriage road starting from Ahinsan [in Kumasi] to the the Lakeside and other tourist centres in the area that will ameliorate the transportation difficulties the people are encountering.

Veronica Antwi Adjei, District Chief Executive DCE made the revelation to rawgist.com’s Kwabena Danso-Dapaah on sidelines of a visitation to the National Democratic Congress members in the constituency.

The NDC parliamentary aspirant asked registered members of the party to vote a candidate who will ensure the President gets enough votes in the constituency.

”Vote for me to become your parliamentary candidate… and I will ensure that NDC wins the seat from the NPP”, the DCE wooed delegates.

The aspirant also diffused allegations by her sole contender that she is in the race to protect her post as Chief Executive. “I represent President Mahama and due to my good stewardship, a lot of development have been undertaken in the district .. I therefore will like to lead and campaign for him in the 2016 general elections”.

She told delegates to give the President a 100% endorsement during the party’s upcoming presidential and parliamentary primaries slated for November 7 this year.

Hon. Veronica Antwi Adjei also asked residents to stop illegal developers and encroachers from building sixty metres close to the Lake explaining “that could stall the development we are looking forward to”.
