Ayeduase chief begins sanitation drive

The Chief of Ayeduase near KNUST has embarked on a sanitation drive of the area.

His traditional area houses numerous hostels and students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

Nana Opoku Agyeman III tells rawgist.com’s Bernard Buachi, he is not going to sit aloof for filth to take over his area, hence the proactive move.

He believes the consequences of filth will be far more costly than a preventive approach.

To this end, the chief is embarking on education after which he will pay sanitation visits to various neighborhoods within his jurisdiction.

He says he expects his sanitation campaign to be very successful due to the heavy presence of university students in Ayeduase.

He also assures the residents to feel free to visit him with issues related to sanitation and others bordering on the progress of the area.
