The Ashanti Regional Youth Wing led by the Ashanti Regional Youth Organiser Commandante Brogya Genfi and his two deputies Osman Abdullah and Bashiru Amissah last Thursday met with all stakeholders of the Youth Front in Kumasi.
Youth organisers and their deputies from all Constituencies and candidates who lost the last Youth elections in the region attended the meeting to strengthen their quest to canvas one million votes in Ashanti region for the National Democratic Congress.
The attendees who lost in the last Youth elections included Anthony Kwaku Boahen (currently Deputy National Communications Officer), Hon Asiedu Keteke (Assembly Man for Old Suame), Awal Mohammed (Member of Communication Team – Ashanti).
It was acknowledged that the continued strength in achieving their target lies in their capacity to work collectively.
Various speakers including the former regional youth organiser did not mince words in admonishing comrades of the youth wing to shun bickering and work as a united front for the party to achieve it’s one million vote target in Ashanti region.
They all expressed their full support to Brogya Genfi, the regional youth organiser for a successful execution of his mandate.
As part of his annual Religious gesture, the regional youth organiser donated various items to the Muslim Youth Organizers to encourage them in their period of fasting.
The Regional Youth Organiser in addition presented 2 bags of rice and 1 bag of Sugar on behalf of the National Youth Organizer, Sidii Abubakar to the Muslim Youth organizers.
Also in attendance were the 1st Regional Vice Chairman, Regional Women’s Organizer and the Regional GYEEDA Director.
