Students of KNUST, who attended the “TekTalk” programme organized by Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) SRC, where ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas graced the occasion, have wondered if Anas graduated from KNUST.
Students have been asking questions particularly if he was affiliated to the university Hall, popularly known as Katanga.
Anas has always been hiding his identity from the public but in his presentation at the CCB Auditorium on Tuesday, he continuously made reference to events at the Katanga hall. Speaking to the students, he used the phrase “If you’ve been in Katanga” about five times which suggested to the audience that perhaps he was affiliated to the hall. He also made reference to some happenings at KNUST and mentioned some key areas at KNUST.
The international investigative journalist has however not reacted to the issue.
The lawyer (Anas) also disclosed to the students that he is a Muslim. Appearing before the judicial committee on the judges’ scandal, he says one of the judges lied about him stating that the money he took from Anas was church tithe but Anas says he is a muslim.
