  1. As a foreigner, I do not know most of those nominated and therefore am unable to offer an opinion about them but whoever speaks out against corruption would have my support.

Corruption in this country has impacted enormously negatively on my family and I. No sooner do I find myself dealing with one attack then another one raises its ugly head, and these are not just minor things. It seems to never stop.

I know Bernard Buachi very well. As a journalist he came to my assistance with the sole purpose of assisting my family and I to overcome the fraud committed against us. He still continues in this. He has worked tirelessly in this regard. His efforts even went extensively further than being just a journalist. Although I am more than twice his age Bernard became my adviser, translator, confidant, friend, and mentor in many regards.

I have also come to know Joseph Yammin, not very well though but what I have observed about him from personal experience is that he is a decent, honest and genuine person who has the very best interests of Ghana and its inhabitants at heart. He assisted me to overcome the outcomes of a certain corrupt activity. He is a good guy in my book!
