Residents in the Techiman Municipality of the Brong Ahafo Region are happy over the introduction of trotro transport services in the town.
Commercial Urvan buses have been operating in the municipality for some two months now.
They operate from the Techiman main market to areas like Kenten, Blue Cross, Sansama, Zongo, Gyama, Takofiano, Tuobodom, Amangoase, Hansua and Brigade.
Some residents who spoke to rawgist.com said the development has really helped reduce their transportation burden.
Hitherto, residents had no choice than to patronize tico taxis around town which they complain is very costly.
They were of full praise for the Municipal Chief Executive, Philip Oppong Amponsah for the development.
