Salvage your profession and deliver impartial justice-Rev. Asante to Judges

JudgesPresiding Bishop of the Methodist church Ghana, Most Reverend Professor Emmanuel K. Asante has advised all Christians who pay lip service to the religion to desist from such and be genuine.

He says‘‘Christianity is a very practical religion. A religion that makes serious moral demands on its adherents’’.He emphasized that Christians are expected to be the light of this world.

Most. Rev. Prof. Asante was speaking at the 58th legal year service 2015 dubbed: ‘‘Deepening public trust and confidence in justice delivery” in Accra.

‘‘Your Lordships and Ladyships, Christianity transcends mere professions. It is not just a matter of paying lip service to the lord or going through religious motions. It is a matter of life flowing from faith and a life lived with the sense of commitment to Christ’’ he noted.

He advised the judges to salvage their profession to deliver impartial justice in the name of God who is the righteous judge.
