“Our leaders should forgo their pride”-Methodist Bishop

church1Bishop of the Tarkwa Diocese of the Methodist Church in the Western Region Right Reverend Thomas Christian Barffo says it is time for leaders all over the country to forgo their pride.

He urges Presidents, Ministers, Members of parliament, Chiefs and other highly placed individuals in the country to be humble and forgo their worldly passions.

Rt.Rv. Thomas Christian Barffo made this statement during a conference with the wives of all suprintendent ministers in the Tarkwa Diocese of the Methodist Church held at the Ebenezer Methodist Church, Asankrangwa.

He further noted that although their dignity must be respected, that should not be a guarantee for them to go wayward against the scriptures.

‘‘It is time for our leaders to accept Christ as their source of inspiration’’he noted.

Bishop Barffo however advised Christians to stop giving God conditions for answers to their prayers.

‘‘For instance when you are praying for a husband, you need not to tell God the colour or stature and other features for God knows the best one for you’’ he stated.

Right Reverend Bishop Thomas Barffo advised all Christians to forget about the delay of answers to their prayers;adding that when they pray they should just concentrate and leave everything to God.
