NPP-USA Chairperson Calls for Unity and Action at New York Chapter’s 33rd Anniversary
The Chairperson of the New Patriotic Party in the United States (NPP-USA), Mrs. Obaa Yaa Frimpong, has implored the rank and file of the party to stay united so they work to regain power in 2028.
Speaking during the USA Chapter’s 33rd anniversary celebration, Obaa Yaa called for shared responsibility from party members.
Citing a quote from Dr. J.B. Danquah, “The strength of a people lies in the spirit that unites them,”
Mrs. Frimpong emphasized that the party must draw deeply from this spirit to regain the confidence of the Ghanaian people.

She asserted that it is through collective responsibility and shared value leadership that the NPP can once again earn the stewardship of the nation.
Mrs. Frimpong urged every member to “rise with courage, speak with conviction and purpose, and act with integrity.”
As the leader of the NPP-USA Branch, she presented four pillars for unity:
Demonstrate good faith: Disagree without defaming one another.
Serve before self: Share successes and shoulder burdens together.
Speak with one voice: Unify the message despite many accents.
Mobilize relentlessly: Register, resource, and reach every voter.
Charge:
She described the NPP-USA as “the bridge between home and abroad” and “the lighthouse that illuminates hope across oceans.”
Mrs. Frimpong stated that the party’s task is to transform emotion into empathy, loyalty into labor, and egos into votes.
“The next victory will not be achieved through the brilliance of a few but by the collective discipline and unity of us all,” she declared.
Mrs. Frimpong concluded her speech by highlighting that the anniversary celebration serves as a reminder that “endurance is our heritage, and bouncing back must be our desired future.”
She welcomed all attendees, expressing hope that their deliberations would be fruitful, their unity unshaken, and their purpose rekindled.
