No “zoom” Police on November 7-NPP Secretary

Community-PoliceNorthern regional secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mr Salifu Sule has warned the Ghana Police Service against deploying Community Police Officers under the Youth Employment Agency to perform any security duties in all election related activities in the country especially the northern region.

“We will not allow them in any way “, he said and explained that these community Policemen are mostly NDC foot soldiers and are deeply unprofessional.

The Regional secretary, Mr Salifu Sule took opportunity of the interview with rawgist.com to express satisfaction with the efficient and competent ways that the NPP agents executed their work and urged them to maintain that spirit of sacrifice and dedication for the NPP towards victory on November 7 for Nana Addo and the Parliamentary Candidates of the NPP.

Mr Salifu Sule also said, the delay of election materials should not occur this year.  “I am appealing to the Electoral Commission to get their equipment in order and to ensure that enough voting materials are sent to the voting centres on election day to avoid any delays or tensions”. He added that constituency officers have been charged to follow up all challenges that were filed during the limited registration exercise.

He appealed to the new registrants to begin to work for the NPP to ensure victory in November.

“The future of the youth is safe, guaranteed and promising under an NPP government than it would be under a continued NDC government which has collapsed the economy and cancelled nursing and teacher trainee allowances. There is too much suffering under the current administration of the NDC and it would be suicidal to vote for more sufferings and hardships on election day”,
Mr. Sule added.

Meanwhile, the NPP in the Northern region has commended its supporters and party agents for the good work done in the ended limited registration exercise.
