NDC MP for Tain’s son mistakenly shoots son of NPP women’s organizer

Tain-gunshot-victimInformation reaching rawgist.com is that the son of the MP for Tain has shot another young man; reportedly the son of the NPP women’s organizer.

The MP Hon. Gyan Tutu Agyemang was away from the town when the incident occurred.

The young man, whose name is being withheld is reported to have taken his father’s legally acquired gun in his absence and for unknown reasons fired in a room. “The boy says he took the gun and it fell from his hand and fired accidentally. The bullet went through the door and caught another young man around the eye brow”, rawgist.com’s police sources recount.

Our sources say the victim of the gunshot has been treated and discharged. Boampong Darlington Bill, a reporter in the locale tells rawgist.com the Police are still investigating the matter.

The incident occurred at Asuafu, Badu

Meanwhile, the District Police Command in Wenchi, according to rawgist.com’s sources will be cautioning the MP over transferring fire arms to his son without authority. His son will also be charged for using fire arms without authority and negligently causing harm.
