Francis Adomako gives to kids at Ashan home

The Ashanti Regional Organiser of the New Patriotic Party, Mr Francis Adomako early Wednesday morning donated some food items, bottled water, soft drinks, toiletries and an unspecified amount of money to kids at the Ashan Home at Kodie in the Afigya Kwabre District of the Ashanti region.

The gesture formed part of the philanthropic work of the NPP regional organiser who has passion for kids.

Mr Francis Adomako in a brief presentation ceremony at the compound of the Home noted his desire to see the kids do well at the place.

The donation, he stressed is a token of his plans for the Home.

“As a father myself I am committed to ensuring all kids fare well and I am privileged with my position as NPP executive to use same to lobby for resources to support such homes to get the best of care all year round”, Mr Adomako passionately posited.

CHARGE:
The NPP regional executive charged the care givers to take good care of the kids.

He noted such special children and orphans become assets to the nation when proper care is given them.

The NPP government, Mr Adomako is therefore committed to seeing to kids of such nature with care and support.

He promised to lobby for more support for the Home so as to help the kids have the best of conditions to stay in and develop their skiĺls and talents.

“The NPP government is committed to seeing to the wellbeing of all citizens including children who found themselves in these homes as well as child care centers in the country”, Mr Adomako with a subdued voice intimated.

HOME OWNER:
On his part, Nana Boafo) Konadu Yiadom, Otumfuo Atene3 Mawerehene thanked the NPP man for the gesture.

He urged other like-minded people to emulate the example of Mr Adomako and give to support the Home..

The Home, the famous care-giver noted is self supporting but occasionally rely on the benevolence of individuals and organisations to keep it running.

“We would like to appeal to individuals, private and corporate organisations to support us to keep these numerous kids neat, active and healthy as they stay here to develop their God-given potentials”, Nana Boafo) appealed.
