Ejisu MP drills 13 mechanized boreholes, more to come

The development oriented Member of Parliament for Ejisu Constituency Mr. Kwabena Owusu Aduomi is at it again as he has drilled 13 new mechanized boreholes for some selected communities in the constituency.

The projects form part of the MP’s core – social responsibilities to give relief to residents who hitherto, had to struggle on daily basis in accessing portal water.

The legislator announced to NPP delegates at Akyawkrom, over the weekend that, he is currently working on 13 new mechanized borehole and existing 5 boreholes in the constituency.

Finding water is a daily challenge to his constituents, hence, his swift intervention to provide them with portal drinking water.

The projects, he said, were exclusively funded from his pocket and part of his share of the MP’s common fund.

The beneficiary communities include: Timeabu, Akokoamon, Okyerekrom, Krapa, Akrofonso , and the rest.

Mr. Aduomi is optimistic, that the contractor working on these water projects will complete them on time, saying, the needed funding has been provided to get work done soon.

Additionally, he has also proposed to Parliament and Ghana Water Company to consider constructing a befitting dam for the people of Ejisu Constituency, since the population is growing and the bore holes cannot continually be the only source of drinking water for the people of Ejisu Constituency.
