Ejisu MP commissions market

The Member of Parliament for Ejisu Constituency in the Ashanti region Mr. Kwabena Owusu Aduomi has resolved to improve business competitiveness and economic growth among traders in the constituency.

To this end, the MP is implementing programs to empower female traders in the Ejisu constituency.

The Member of Parliament, in a move to exhibit his seriousness, commissioned the 1st phase of a Market at Asotwe to support trading activities among females.

“The first phase of the 45 stalls of the market is ready for use and the 15 stores will be ready in no time” he said.

Mr. Aduomi believes, this market, will help decongest the choked Ejisu market.

Ejisu market, has no space to accommodate extra traders, hence his decision to develop the Asotwe market.

The Project is exclusively funded from his share of the MP’s common fund and his own personal money.
