Treating the congregation including first time visitors to his popular songs and notable renditions of spirit filled music, the internationally acclaimed worship leader sent worshippers into prayerful mood.

Being seated while the gospel icon was introduced to the podium by the CCC General Overseer, Reverend Ransford Obeng members suddenly rose to their feet as the worship leader dished out sensational tunes from his “God is good” and “God will make a way” albums.

With touching songs such as “You are the Lord that Heals”, “Praise looks good on you” and many others, Don Moen held up the congregation in worship posture for about 45 minutes.

ENCOURAGEMENT:
Pausing to encourage the sea of worshippers that had gathered at the church auditorium, Don Moen urged Christians never to give up in life no matter the challenge they may be going through.

Using his family and marriage as an example, the calm 70 year old worship icon said for 12 years the wife was unable to conceive after marriage.

Having built a consistent prayer life together with the wife, Don Moen revealed that God in their 13th year of marriage gave them a child.

In the space of 8 years, the worship leader said God gave them five kids, two girls and three boys.

“If one needed an example to trust in God and to count on his faithfulness he or she is seeing one in me”, the former Integrity Music Director intimated.

CCC CONSTITUTION AND COUNCILS LAUNCH:
Using the occasion to good use, Reverend Ransford Obeng unveiled the new CCC constitution that will govern the activities of the church in its entirety.

The General Overseer also swore to into office a national council which consisted of about 9 members including a Justice of the Superior Court of Ghana.

Reverend Obeng noted that there is a provision for the set up of regional bodies that will administer the operations of all regional branches of the church.

He stressed that the church needed such a constitution as well as national and regional bodies to streamline its activities to make it a proper organisation whose Lordship is Christ Jesus.
